The Silent Epidemic of
Sexual Abuse
Research shows that approximately 25% of the U.S. population has experienced sexual abuse at some point. Victims of childhood sexual abuse are far more likely to struggle with addiction, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, and other destructive behaviors and may even become abusers themselves. While the statistics are shocking and the effects disturbing, there is hope! Experts agree that 95% of childhood sexual abuse is preventable through education.

Protect the Future.
Heal the Past.
Trees of Hope was founded in 2006 by a sexual abuse survivor. Since then, we have impacted the lives of over 5,500 people through our prevention groups and healing workshops. While we are humbled by what we’ve accomplished so far, much is yet to be done. Survivors need to heal from the wounds of their past, and children need to be protected from becoming victims in the future. Trees of Hope will not stop until the scourge of childhood sexual abuse has been completely and permanently eradicated from our world.
